Holdenisms

Holden says SO many things that it is hard to remember them but each makes us smile and many shock us. Here are just a few of the most recent.

When Nate came home to take him to school one morning he was a having a hard day. Everything was going wrong and the final straw was Lani (yaya) wiping his face the "wrong way." "Dad, I just have bad energy around me today."

After soccer practice the other day.
"I fell down a lot but that's ok, it's just part of the game"
"That boy, the one with the fat cheeks, he pushed me on the field"

As I was packing his lunch for school (one day a week he goes all day and they have lunch and nap time) he said; "I can't believe I have to live at school today." Followed by, when he got home; "Mom, you know how I lived at school today? Can I do that again?"

On the way home from school the other day. Nate and I were both with him. "Mario (our driver), mom and me...we're in love."

To his teacher the other day at school. "My mom and dad were fighting." Teacher trying to reassure him that maybe mom and dad were just having a discussion. "Nope, they were fighting, and then, my dad hit my mom!" Um, yeah. We had to have a talk about making up stories and Nate had to pick his jaw up off the ground.

Ah life with a very talkative 3 year old. Couldn't be any better.

Here is Holden on his way to school in his uniform and cowboy boots. Hey, at least they kind of match!

On the way to soccer. It was a long hard day, but he wasn't about to let go of his soccer ball.

I am so glad you updated your blog! You GO girl!

Those are some super funny comments from Holden! I still remember when he asked me to take him upstairs, then wispered in my ear - "Jeffrey, I know my Mom wants us to come back down, but just calm down and play with me, that is the best thing at this point!"

HAHAHAH! You are so lucky to have such a smart boy! :)
